A To-Do List
I once taught a class to manufacturing foreman and lead machine operators, all within a company for which I was consulting.  One of the classes was entitled “Time Management”, which of course is important whatever one is doing. When asked what was the most important idea they had taken from the class, the far and away winner was – a To Do list. And indeed the next day they all had a small notebook hanging out of their back pocket.
So here is my To Do List for genealogists:
Go for the grandmothers;
Go for the Source of each piece of data;
Go for a consistent writing style;
Go for help from many, many other people;
Go for organization of your work.
Put these on a Post-it on your computer …… and read it every day.
I will discuss this list further in subsequent postings.
